Lenten and Easter Week Services

Lent begins with an acknowledgment of Ash Wednesday.

Maundy Thursday service takes place seated at tables on the chancel with foot washing, music, scripture and communion. A snack of fruits, bread, and hummus, which might have been served at Jesus’ table is followed by communion.

Palm Sunday’s service includes a children’s dramatization.

Our Easter Resurrection Service is followed by lunch, Easter Eggs and candy. These are all important services in the life of the church.  Our beautifully decorated sanctuary contributes to the awe and majesty of Resurrection Sunday.
