Special Worship Services

Special services include Homecoming on the first Sunday after Labor Day; World Communion Sunday; Thanksgiving Service and Dinner the Sunday before Thanksgiving; Family-oriented Christmas Service; Martin Luther King Jr. Service on the Sunday before Martin Luther King Day; Criminal Justice Sunday in February; Maundy Thursday Service with foot washing, scripture reading, music and communion; Palm Sunday; Easter Service with special lunch; The Mother’s in Prison Children in Crisis Mother’s Day Service; and a Service to Celebrate the Day of Pentecost.

Black History, Women’s History, and Hispanic Heritage months are recognized and affirmed.
